this is a story i wrote about a monster called the "blood angel"

The Blood Angel

It was another normal day at grandma’s house. My friend Matt and I were listening to my grandma’s mumbo jumbo stories. She was telling the one about ‘The blood angel.’ She kept telling us the story was true but I didn’t believe her. She was being so annoying that I decided to go to the place where the blood angel hangs out.

We headed off to Black Water Village and when we arrived there it was 12:01 and we found that the place was deserted. We looked around and there was no sign of any living things even though the village was still in perfect condition. The dust was everywhere and a bright blue moon shone down on the old ragged buildings. One of the building stood apart from the others as there was no dust anywhere to be seen.

I told Matt to have a look in the surrounding buildings and check if there was anything in them. I walked in to the dark gloomy room then Matt ran in. ‘There was nothing’ he said ‘Arghhh’

I turned around and he was gone then I heard manic laughter from up stairs. Dare I go upstairs I though to myself. I wanted to go upstairs but I wanted to find Matt first. I started to yell “Matt, Matt this isn’t funny Matt” but still he did not call back. I walked back inside

‘Boo’ Matt shouted jumping out from behind a barrel.

“Arghhh” I went to throw a punch at him but I realised who it was and stopped
“Ha-ha the look on your face was priceless, I don’t understand why anyone would leave a place like this there’s nothing wrong with it” said Matt.

‘Muhahaha’ it was that manic laughter again I was starting to think it was someone trying to pull a prank on us. Then out of nowhere a creature so sinister and forcible appeared. It had a red glowing skull with no skin to be seen and torn clothing. Within its belligerent eyes was a dark, dark evil which was about to tear open my delicate skin with his ancient corroded sword. We sprinted for our lives but to no prevail. I saw granny with some old black tribal grail and I thought to myself what is up with that? She jumped about 10 metres into thin air and the fight was on.

First granny hit the creature and some blue dust bounced of it and there was something about those numb-chucks that wasn’t right. Boom! Bang! Smash! Thump! Granny was down for the count and the creature was walking closer to her so I rushed over to protect her from it.
“Stay away, stay away from her you beast” I yelled as I grabbed the grail and started to hit him. I felt a power flow through me and I felt like superman I jumped from side to side hitting and jabbing at him.

With one final blow using all my power I hit him to the ground. I felt so tired that I fainted and the next thing I knew I woke up in bed at granny’s house. I jumped up and asked if granny was OK? She walked in and I felt relief flow through my body. She told me what I had done and that it was a very brave thing.

45 years later I was telling the same story to people all around the world just like you.
